
Ross Hjelseth has spent his lifetime in leadership and serving people. Ross was raised on a family farm, thus shaping a strong work ethic. A former head football coach at the University of Puget Sound, Ross became headmaster and head football coach of Life Christian Academy in 1993.
Ross served in the elected position of Metropolitan Park District Board of Commissioners. Hjelseth was a 2002 Pierce County Business Leader of the Year Finalist. Ross currently serves on the University Place Volunteer Center’s founding board, in Rotary, and the WIAA state board.
Ross is a highly requested public speaker due to his understanding of issues and ability to communicate with diverse groups. His accessibility and decision-making shows respect for people.
Ross and his wife, Ronni, are the parents of Brandon and Tyler. His personal mission is “To serve God and people to the best of my ability!”
