PAIR-UP (Prevention and Awareness Increases Residential Safety in University Place) is a program designed to create and enhance partnerships between University Place Police, the Fire Department, Emergency Management and the citizens of our community. Students of the program work together with these agencies to gain knowledge and develop resources in the areas of crime prevention, fire and life safety and disaster preparedness. This knowledge can then be used to enhance safety, increase neighborhood communication and improve the overall quality of life. Together, we are "PAIRing UP" to "put the unity back into community."
